I am a transformative life coach, using gentle questioning and practical goal setting to help people develop better resources in times of struggle or change.
I love a plan and the beauty of coaching is that what starts with a growing awareness can lead to new insight and ultimately, valuable strategies for a well-lived life.

ABOUT
Having studied Philosophy and Theology at university, I have always had a natural interest in people and their behaviour, as well as a strong desire to support others.
I enjoyed a 15-year career in the luxury travel industry but then, in 2020, my life changed significantly. At 37 years old I was diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer when my daughter was just ten months old and my boys were 3 and 6. What followed was a grueling six months of treatment, a medically induced menopause and a continuing treatment plan to keep me cancer-free.
Not naturally courageous and with a lifelong aversion to chaos, I was required to face my greatest fears and to dig deep to find inner resources I didn’t know I had. But the most extraordinary byproduct of this process was to truly understand the beauty of a more positive mindset. I experienced first-hand the benefits of neuroplasticity – using my mental capacity to build new synaptic connections that ultimately served me better. I became a stronger version of myself.
A new career path was born and in 2024 I qualified as an Associate Coach with Optimus Coach Academy.
APPROACH
I offer one-to-one clients a blended form of coaching, grounded in the humanistic approaches of Positive Psychology and Transactional Analysis. Together, we look at layers of habits and negative thought patterns to facilitate a deeper level of self-awareness. I enjoy incorporating tools and techniques when appropriate, including values and strengths work, neuroscience-based techniques and future visualisation work.
I have hundreds of hours of experience working in the areas of confidence, career change, lethargy, boundaries, early menopause, perfectionism, parenting, relationships, stress and personal development.
I am also a founder member of private healthcare provider HCA’s patient reference group. We provide non-medical advice to cancer patients using insights based on the personal experience of patients to help the oncology services of HCA Healthcare UK to deliver the best physical and emotional care.

“My every session with Holly was a revelatory lesson of self-knowledge. After only 6 weeks I have at my disposal very easy to use practical tools to deal with my less helpful thinking patterns, my approach to solving current issues, and understanding the importance of imbalance in my life. I already recommended Holly to some of my good friends and I’m intending to have several more sessions myself this year.”

“I had several coaching experiences before Holly, so I was not expecting anything groundbreaking. I was wrong! From the first session I saw my situation differently and the experience was a revelation since then. So much mind clarity, very pragmatic approach, many new tools and revealing analysis in every single session.”

“I reached out to Holly for support navigating a career change. Holly made this feel like a manageable task and we worked on discovering my values to make sure the companies and roles I looked at were in alignment with these. We then spent some time looking at my strengths which I was quite nervous about but Holly created such a warm environment that made this a much easier task than I’d feared! Over our six sessions Holly helped me understand more about what I can offer and what I’m looking for, setting me up to apply for jobs that interest me and where I can add value. I cannot recommend Holly highly enough!”

“Holly is an absolute pleasure to talk to. From the very first session, she creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. There’s no sense of judgment—just genuine understanding and support. She has an incredible ability to help you see things from a new perspective, guiding you to clarity without pushing her own opinions. Instead of allowing me to get stuck in my assumptions, she helped me break things down and truly understand why I react the way I do in certain situations. Her approach gave me the tools to manage my expectations, helping me respond more mindfully and effectively.”

“Holly has been an invaluable member of the Us for You patient support group, offering professional insight and personal empathy. Her ability to connect with patients, share knowledge, and provide support has made a significant impact. Holly has co-written a patient tips booklet for those receiving hormonal treatment for cancer, which has proven to be an invaluable resource for many. Her comprehensive understanding of the emotional, physical, and psychological effects of menopause, paired with her professional expertise, makes her an outstanding advocate for those navigating these difficult experiences.”
